Collgar Renewables operates the Collgar Wind Farm, which is a $750 million renewable power project at Merredin in Western Australia’s central Wheatbelt. Collgar is owned by Australia's largest superannuation fund the Retail Employees Superannuation (REST).
Collgar Wind Farm has 111 turbines and is spread over 18,000Ha with a power production capacity of 220MW. The Company generates and delivers clean, renewable electricity into the SWIS each year, making a major contribution to Western Australia's greenhouse gas reductions.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Site Administrator(Monday to Friday) to join our team, on a full-time/part-time/casual or fixed term basis. The role is based at the Collgar Wind Farm in Merredin. The Site Administrator is accountable for providing onsite administrative support for wind farm operations and collaborates closely with the Site Superintendent, and Site Coordinator. The candidate must already be residing in Merredin or the surrounding area.
Key responsibilities include:
- First point of contact dealing with site related phone calls and queries.
- Coordinate inductions/site access requirements for visitors attending the wind farm site.
- Deliver administrative support to support the wind farm operations.
- Maintain office cleanliness, tidiness and general organisation.
- Action procurement of office equipment, merchandise and sundries.
- Support in relation to landowner letters, rates and insurance.
- Assistance with monthly reporting.
- Preparation of data for monthly HSE statistics.
- Support finance related activities and processes.
- Assist site visitors with HSE inductions to ensure compliance and safety awareness.
- Maintain incident register.
- Update registers relating to environmental issues including lightning register maintenance.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Experience in commercial and professional office environments.
- Prior site-based or community-based work would be advantageous; but is not required.
- Excellent MS Office computer skills, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and cope with changing priorities.
- Administration skills and experience.
