Casual Senior Florist

Floriade is a Sydney institution, providing quality florals and bespoke design to the Sydney community for over 20 years. We are open 7 days a week and are looking for floral superstars to join our team on a casual basis for 2-3 shifts per week including alternate weekends.   

We are a small team who love what we do - neoclassical bespoke retail floristry with a growing number of weddings and events.  We have two shops, while you'll be based in Mosman you may be asked to work in Rose Bay from time to time.  

Our focus is on creating a great customer experience through exceptional service and beautiful flowers, whether that be through customers visiting, calling us, or ordering online through email, chat, social media or our website.

Who are we looking for

• Someone who has at least 2 years of experience within the florist industry, ideally with a floristry qualification (Cert III preferred)
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Highly motivated and hard-working but doesn't take themselves too seriously (we like to have fun while we  work)
• Passionate about flowers and floristry as well as putting a 'wow' factor into the customer experience

Main duties will be dependent on experience and will include all aspects of retail floristry including:

• Taking and completing orders as they come in from the website, chat, phone and social media
• Building relationships with our customers
• Encouraging and engaging the team to high-quality standards
• Creating new arrangements for display on the website and social media
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of work areas
• Supporting the team at large to achieve Floriade’s daily and weekly goals and KPIs
• Other duties as directed

Hours:

Monday - Saturday 8am - 6pm 

Sunday 9am-4pm 

The initial roster will be 2-3 days per week( including alternate rostered weekends) with more hours available during our busy periods.
