Opportunity to be upskilled across a variety of operational tickets (dogging, rigging etc.)
We are looking for individuals seeking casual shift work at our Bunbury Port operation.
The successful applicant will need to be prepared to work an irregular shift pattern in a 24/7 roster.
Key Responsibilities
Shipboard and wharf duties, ship loading, lashing and unlashing, and other general duties; and
Basic servicing of equipment incidental to the performance of functions; and
Basic security duties incidental to the performance of functions; and
Basic clerical tasks including tally clerking ; and
Clerical tasks incidental to the performance of functions at this grade.
Operate at all times in a safe manner ensuring safety breaches or incidents are reported immediately; and
Operation of Machinery including: Ship loaders, Fork-lifts, Skidsteer, Excavators
What we need from you
Current Manual Drivers Licence (Essential)
Ability to obtain Maritime Security Identification Card (Essential)
Forklift Licence (Essential)
Flexibility to work shifts over a 7 day, 24 hour period
Availability to attend work at short notice
Reliability to perform routine tasks without supervision
EWP Licence – training in this area highly regarded
Intermediate Rigger (training in this area highly regarded)
CN licence - training in this area highly regarded
Ability to work at heights– training in this area highly regarded
