The Opportunity
We currently have a number of vacancies for casual Stevedores to join our operations at Darwin. Your primary responsibilities will facilitate the movement of general cargo on and off vessels. This includes operating machinery (subject to skills), driving vehicles on/off Roll-on Roll-off vessels, releasing/securing cargo and providing support to vessel operations under supervision. Successful applicants will be paid to undertake training and industry experience is not a pre-requisite.
About You
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and safety conscious person who holds a MSIC card (not mandatory but would be highly regarded) and a driver's license. You must be physically fit due to the nature of the role and able to work fluctuating hours on rotating shifts. Any of the following licences & experience whilst not essential, would be highly desirable: Forklift , Excavator, Skid Steer and Dogman/Riggers.
