About the position

We are seeking casual Food and Beverage Team Leaders to join our growing team at Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre

The successful candidates will be operationally savvy, contributing to the overall success of the venues food and beverage department. With a focus on supporting the F&B team and F&B officer in the daily operational needs, the successful candidate will have a strong Food and Beverage background. They will be able to work unsupervised and be able to give direction to a team as needed.

About your new role

Lead the charge in our bustling venues by overseeing the seamless execution of culinary creations. You will provide support and direction to the F&B team to ensure high quality service and coach the team on daily operations of the outlets, including service standards and portion control. As a team leader you aren’t just leading a team, you’re orchestrating experiences, shaping perceptions and creating moments that leave a lasting impression.

What you bring to your new role

You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal. This role will ideally suit someone with strong team supervisory experience. You will be able to take direction, while relying on your team to get the job done. You are tech savvy and will know your way around several computer applications and be able to figure things out for yourself.

We are looking for someone to not only support the F&B management team but to also be a forward thinker and be involved in the ongoing improvements of the F&B department.

You will be required to be available across our venue operating hours with weekend availability essential.

Applicants that already hold the below or are willing to get one are highly desirable for the role:

  • Current RSA Certificate
  • Be physically fit and able to lift and move stock and equipment
  • A current unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence
