Twin Towns Vet I Casual Vet Nurse
Twin Towns Vet is a small animal practice in the heart of Coolangatta QLD - a quick 5-minute walk and you will have the beach at your feet. Our friendly team is looking for a Casual Vet Nurse to join us!
About The Role
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Assist our Vets with routine examinations
- Surgical and hospital nursing including monitoring anaesthetics
- Pre and post operative patient care including grief support to clients
- Prepare and administer medications as required
- Admission and discharge of surgical and hospital cases
- Communicate treatment plans to clients
- Blood collection and testing, iv catheter placement
- Assist with x-rays and ultrasounds
- Assist with scale and polish of dental patients
- perform dental x-rays
- General day to day nursing duties to support our Vets and working with your team members to ensure the highest patient care
About You
- Cert IV Veterinary Nurse with at least 12 months experience post certificate
- A nurse available to work with a rotating roster
- Be committed to high standards of service excellence and clinical care
- A genuine, warm, and supportive style that enjoys caring for animals
- ezyvet experience desired but not essential
