Veterinary Happiness is a small animal clinic located in the beautiful coastal region of Redland Bay. We have a rare opportunity for an experienced vet nurse to join our team of three vets and three nurses who are committed to enriching the lives of animals, people and community we live in.
Our team has a mix of experience and skills, and promote a fun, collaborative and inclusive culture. We are hoping our new casual nurse will compliment us with good energy and a best practice approach and clinical skill set!
We have a nice workplace setting, are well equipped with in-house IDEXX laboratory, full digital x-ray and ultrasound facilities, dental x-ray, surgical theatre, and monitoring equipment. We are also cat friendly accredited.
About The Role
- Starting early February 2024
- Thursdays & Fridays 730am – 6pm
- No weekend or after-hours roster
- Opportunity to increase hours
- Working with vets who respect and value their nursing team
About You
- Confident in all areas of Vet Nursing including surgery, consulting, hospital and reception
- Passionate about high standards of patient care
- Enjoys being hands-on and shows confidence in placing IV catheters, setting up fluids,
- Monitoring anaesthetics using multiparameter monitoring, performing grade 1 dentals
- Can work autonomously and enjoys taking initiative
- Great customer service skills to support our loyal clients and community
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nurses, with minimum 2-years experience
- Enjoys being part of a small team where you can also work autonomously
