Responsibilities:
As a DC Operator ( Voice picker/packer), your responsibilities will include but not limited too:
- Accurate and timely picking of store orders while maintaining the quality of stock.
- Performing general warehousing duties, including precise picking of dry, chilled, and frozen orders, receiving, storing, and rotating stock, loading trucks, and managing incoming deliveries.
- Maintaining positive communication with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with company guidelines and relevant legislation.
- Participating in product recall procedures and using all material handling equipment correctly.
- Undertaking additional tasks as required.
About You:
- Reliable with a positive demeanour.
- A team player with attention to detail and advocate for safe work practices
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and food safety principles is an advantage.
- Forklift license/certificate is desirable but not necessary
- Willingness to undertake shift work and overtime as needed.
