The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic administrative clerks to join the HIS Casual Ward Clerk team at Northern Health.
As a Casual Ward Clerk, you are responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to clinical, nursing and allied health staff completing admissions, discharges, transfers and administrative duties timely.
Our casual clerical team relies on casuals to have vast availability and reliability in order to service multiple departments and campuses 7 days per week including public holidays.
Campuses include Northern Health Epping, Bundoora Extended Care, Broadmeadows Health Service, Craigieburn Health Service, and Kilmore District Health Service.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience and good working knowledge of software programs
- Experience in a hospital or fast paced working environment
- Excellent time management skills.
- A customer service focused approach
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads
