About the role
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operator to join the Warehouse team in a Casual capacity. The position ranges from working across all shifts - day 6am-2pm, afternoon 2pm-10pm and night 10pm-6am, Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor, this position is responsible for undertaking general warehousing duties and forklift operation.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- To pick and load customer orders onto trucks ensuring all product and documentation is accurate;
- To ensure all product sent to customers meets quality standards;
- Manage product in the warehouse ensuring movement and storage are carried out effectively and in line with warehouse principles and safety guidelines;
- General housekeeping; maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse.
To be successful in the role:
- Experienced Forklift Operator – LF class License;
- Be safety conscious, follow safety procedures and be mindful of workplace hazards for yourself and others;
- You will have good communication skills;
- Experience with RF scanning;
- Knowledge and demonstration of general warehouse procedures and safety protocols;
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including; physical assessment and drug and alcohol testing.

Alpine MDF Industries is a large wood processing facility located at Wangaratta in North East Victoria offering permanent employment for over 140 local people.
Alpine’s core business is manufacturing Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) for many uses in the construction, and related industries and is distributed and sold nationally in Australia. Complimenting the core business, Alpine MDF has established a re-manufacturing business on the same site where core products are reprocessed into specific building products such as pre-painted skirting, architraves, door and window components and decorative wall lining panels.
