Qualifications & experience 

  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Experience in a customer focused environment including cash handling
  • Interest in working with young people Demonstrated ability to present food, beverages and products in an attractive manner
  • Knowledge of cash handling and receipting
Tasks & responsibilities 
  • Assist customers with sales/purchases required in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Operate POS registers for Cafe sales including eftpos transactions. 
  • Provide a high level of hospitality expertise in food and beverage preparation, handling and presentation
  • Maintain cleaning standards inside and outside cafe - especially in food preparation and sales areas
  • Assist with re-ordering of stock items and stocktaking when required 

Hours

Based on a 38 hour week, working on a casual basis, with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor, with no RDO. Hours worked on weekends will attract the appropriate loadings.
