SalaryMontrose Medical Practice is a Private Billing Practice in Glebe. We believe in clear, effective communication with patients, holistic patient care, continuous learning and professional development and great teamwork within the practice, allowing experience and knowledge to be shared to ensure the best possible outcome for our patients.
Our practice is open 7 days a week, 9am to 7pm on weekdays, 9am – 1pm on weekends and closed on public holidays. Our practice is close to shops and public transport.
The role expected would include but not limited to:
- Previous experience in a general practice for a minimum of 1 year
- Immunisations for adults and children
- Health checks as per government recommendations at 4 yrs old, 45-49 yrs old, 75 years old etc
- GP Management plan preparation
- Assistance in minor procedures including IUD and Implanon insertion, skin excision, iron infusion, earwax syringing
- Managing patient reminders and recalls
- Managing inventory for medical stock
- Performing ECG, spirometry and vision tests
- Wound review and dressing management
- Assisting with practice accreditation processes
Working hours: 50-60 hr a fortnight (working alongside with another practice nurse.) can be a part-time position if it suits better
