Reporting to the Category Development Manager, this game changing role will be based in our head office located in Norwest, working Monday – Friday, 38 hours per week on a permanent. There is flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

The Category Analyst role is both an internally & externally focused position responsible for delivering recommendations to the category & sales team to grow our market share position. The scope of the role is across all of Snack Brands Categories in Australia (Salty and Wrapped Bars)
What you’ll be responsible for:
- The role is a support function for the wider category team, working with multiple stakeholders on a breath of categories – don’t be boxed into one category
- Work on ad hoc NPD forecasting & Gate document completion, market & competitor share trend insights & updating & distributing share dashboards
- Own UBF/GS1 process – Responsible for ensuring all documents are loaded on time to meet customer expectations.
- Lead Planogram/Space Planning recommendations leading into each key Woolworths and Coles, Salty & Wrapped range reviews.
- Develop specific proposal to improve share of shelf, customer proposals to for all key NPD initiatives and influence customer space planning teams.
- Develop specific Planograms for key Metcash/Indies accounts (including MSO’s) – both leading into & outside of Range Reviews.
- Work with customer/space planning teams on category aisle flow & correct allocation of space. Opportunity to lead the customer review process.
- Ideally 3+ years of proven experience in marketing, sales or category
- Ideally have experience in FMCG
- Experience using JDA and Apollo programs
- Exceptional organisational, time management and planning skills – you can juggle multiple balls at any time!
- High levels of integrity and accountability - you can be counted on to do what you say you will
- You will be self sufficient and a go getter!
