SalaryOur client, a leader in the aviation space is looking for an experienced Category Specialist to help manager the property and capital works category.
Category Management
- Understand customer needs and contribute to the development of a category strategy to ensure best practice and value for money
- Execute category strategy through your wealth of sourcing experience
- Be a trusted commercial advisor to internal business units
- Manage conflicts between business unit priorities and help with business improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain open and honest relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the end to end sourcing activity of your category, including creation and management of RFx and facilitating RFx analysis
- Drive value and ensure operational needs are met
- As required act as mediator between supplier and internal customer
- Active support of corporate and finance policies and procedures
- Act in accordance within company policies
- Able to interpret category strategies
- A flexible and creative approach
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
