YOUR NEW ROLE
Responsibilities:
- Manage data, control spending, and engage stakeholders to drive cost savings
- Utilising market research to develop strategies to enhance supply chain opportunities.
- Act as a "reverse salesperson," strategising to secure stronger ties with manufacturers.
- Define and implement category strategies in line with the organisation’s guiding principles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across all sites to drive process improvements.
- Travel to other sites and customer/supplier locations as required.
- Attend expos to keep ahead of new products in the Renewable Energy field.
ABOUT YOU
We're searching for someone with a real passion for renewables and an insatiable curiosity. You're the type who's always asking, "How can we make this better?" – digging into past purchases, understanding where everything goes, and why it’s needed. Your mission? Turn that data into gold, enticing manufacturers to line up exclusively to work with you and score sweet deals. You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and optimise supply chain operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in tender and contract management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
