We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to join our Strategic Procurement team. This pivotal role client is committed to developing short and long-term procurement strategies that maximise the value of goods and services purchased. Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing past, current, and future demand for goods and services.
- Delivering go-to-market strategies based on market analysis and business requirements.
- Implementing and monitoring the deployment of agreed-upon strategies.
- Managing contracts, tenders, and ensuring compliance with policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines such as Business or Management.
- MCIPS Procurement qualification or Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
- Extensive experience in sourcing and procurement, with a minimum of two years in a senior category management role.
- Demonstrated expertise in Category Management, Spend/Cost/Supplier Management, Business Performance Management, Specific Industry/Market/Vendor Knowledge, Data Analysis, and Negotiation.
