We currently have a fantastic opportunity at Wyong Hospital Cafe for a dynamic and outgoing Catering Assistant, who is passionate about customer service and providing the best overall experience in a Café / Staff cafeteria setting. Your goal will be to provide fast, friendly service and work with a small team to provide an excellent customer experience. You will be required to support in food preparation and service as required, make espresso coffees, operate the POS system and keep a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
This is a casual position with varied shifts from Monday to Sunday, between the hours 6.00am – 7.30pm at the Wyong hospital Cafe.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing sandwiches
- Espresso machine coffee making
- Operate the POS System
- Following a cleaning plan to ensure all cleaning and sanitising is maintained
- Managing stock rotation to minimise wastage
- Ensuring all safety, hygiene and food presentation is maintained to a high quality
To hit the ground running you will demonstrate:
- A proven ability to deliver quality and friendly customer service
- Basic Coffee Knowledge and the ability to operate a POS system (training provided)
- Teamwork and customer relationship skills
