Where you'll be working:
- Our hospital site is based in Waratah, NSW.
- Our Catering Assistants provide patient feeding services to the patient cohort at the hospital.
- You will work in our commercial production kitchen as well as serve meals and interact with patients and clinical staff on a daily basis.
- The work is shift work and you may be rostered in the main hospital or our Mental Health facility or a combination of both at any time.
- You will be preparing and serving meals to patients across our hospital site as well as performing food preparation and cleaning tasks associated with a commercial production kitchen.
- You will be supported by a large experienced multi-disciplinary team, our Catering Supervisor and Catering Manager who are onsite.
- We are seeking dedicated, reliable and compassionate persons who would like to work across our hospital site in patient feeding. Patient feeding involves food preparation, food production, serving patients and the collection of trays at end of service.
- You will be walking distances of 500 metres delivering to patients throughout our facility.
- The capacity to verbally engage and positively interact with patients, staff and your team is essential.
- Four weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time employees)
- Superannuation contributions 11%
