About the Role
As a Catering Manager, you will be an outstanding leader with well-rounded kitchen competencies, who thrives in managing and leading their staff by example to be the best that they can be.
Day Shifts: Monday to Friday, with occasional evening function work and weekend shifts.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Production and delivery of a high volume of meals per day
- Catering for internal functions
- Direction and leadership of all catering staff
- Quality Control
- Conduct regular staff meetings.
- Food quality control and oversee and maintain OHS and HACCP
- Internal and External Audit compliance
- Responsible for financial and operational performance of catering services
- Purchasing and stock control
- Chef trade qualifications with experience in a high-volume catering environment
- Food Safety Supervisor Certification
- Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification (desirable)
- Knowledge of HACCP Principles and the proven ability to manage the food safety program.
- Experience in a catering management position with multiple sites
- End of month financial reporting
- Preference for Hospitality background and previous supervisory experience, e.g., rostering, ordering, menu planning, line management, H&S.
