CCTV Leading Hand
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time CCTV Leading Hand to contribute to Council’s success.

- Unique roster - working 7 days a fortnight
- Located in Gladstone, working throughout region
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to supervise a small team that undertakes a wide range of activities, particularly maintenance, repair and cleaning work associated with Council’s water, sewerage and stormwater infrastructure.
Roster pattern 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off, 5 on, 5 off, working6.30am to 5.30pm.
You will bring:
- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or relevant industry knowledge gained from previous relevant experience.
- Previous experience leading work teams and knowledge and experience in applying Work, Health and Safety in the work environment.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse workforce and customers.
- Work outside of normal work hours as requested by your supervisor as part of the requirements of the sections published 'on call' roster
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
- Current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).
- Experience and competency operating under a current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
