We are seeking a Cell Culture Scientist to join our GMP manufacturing facility. In this role, you will handle daily manufacturing activities, including mammalian Cell Culture and operating bioreactors for monoclonal antibody production using hybridoma cells. Your technical expertise will be crucial to our success in this growth area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and maintenance of Master and Working cell seed lots.
- Perform mammalian cells clone selection.
- Handling suspension and adherent cell lines, including expansion and banking.
- Maintaining seed trains and supporting Cell Culture media preparation.
- Assembling and operating stainless steel and single-use bioreactors, Operating Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems.
- Calibrating and maintaining instruments.
- Managing and ordering lab stocks of chemicals and reagents.
- Participating in manufacturing improvement projects.
- Analyzing data and reporting results to the Cell Culture team.
- Documenting experiments and writing reports per IMM policies.
- Sharing technical expertise through coaching, mentoring, or training staff.
- Maintaining high safety standards.
- Assisting in implementing quality improvements
- Performing general laboratory duties, including inventory management, maintenance, and reagent preparation.

- Experience in Cell Culture techniques (both suspension and adherent), with a degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical/Biological Science, or related fields, and lab experience in industry or academia.
- Experienced in clone selection with knowledge of cell line development.
- Previous hands-on experience working in GMP-regulated environments is important.
- Previous experience with single-bioreactor technology and/or stainless-steel bioreactors is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of TFF systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a laboratory setting.
- Strong attention to detail in problem-solving, addressing both routine and complex issues.
- Well-organized with exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- a proven track record of achieving targets and objectives.
- Effective time management capabilities and the ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
