About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated person to run and promote our prestigious Cellar Door.
As Cellar Door Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Operational management of the Cellar Door.
- Identify opportunities to drive visitations and sales,
- Grow On Line sales.
- Ensure first class Customer Service and presentation of Cellar Door and facilities.
- Develop, train and mentor Cellar Door staff.
- Facilitate high quality tasting experience to maximize sales
- Financial forecasting, budgeting and planning and achieving budgets.
- Maintain staff rosters and ensure staffing efficiencies
The main objectives of the role are to professionally manage, to a very high standard, the operations of Scotchmans Hill’s Cellar Door and to drive the growth of this business. This is an exciting time to be joining Scotchmans Hill.
The successful applicant will ideally possess the following:
- Be highly self-motivated with strong initiative and work ethic
- Show confident interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to build effective relationships.
- Be customer orientated, always going above and beyond everything you do.
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage an efficient and productive team environment.
- Computer skills,.
- A professional but fun and friendly personality.
- Strong interest in wine and food.
- WSET Level 2 would be highly regarded
- Attention to detail.
- System literacy including the use of point of sale applications.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
This position will work Wednesday to Sunday (daytime hours) and offers an attractive salary package with the bonus of working in one of the most desirable locations on the Bellarine Peninsula.
