About the role
The Central Bookings Officer is required to carry out a variety of administrative duties in accordance with the waiting list/elective surgery management process. The position requires a high level of negotiation skills to liaise with clinical, non-clinical support staff and the general public to ensure patients are admitted within their clinical recommended timeframes.
The role is set days - Monday and Friday, on a rotating roster with shift times of 06:30-15:00, 07:30-16:00, 08:00-1630, and 08:30-17:00.
