We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate and creative Chef/Cook to join our stunning, purpose-built Early Childhood service in Charmhaven!
In this role you will be required to plan, create, prepare and serve delicious and nutritious meals to the children that attend our service daily. Menu development and encouraging child participation in the cooking process are key aspects along with helping us to empower our families with knowledge on meal and food requirements for very young children.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:
- Experience in developing creative and interactive cooking experiences
- Knowledge of allergies and food intolerances
- Experience in devising, reviewing and adhering to Food Safety Program requirements
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates or willing to obtain
- Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate or willing to obtain at own expense prior to starting (essential)
- Recognised culinary qualification, or recent experience in a Cook role, ideally within an Early Childhood setting (essential)
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check (essential)
- Available to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays with some flexibility to cover the leave of other Chefs/Cooks as required (essential).
