Are you looking for a chance to bring your culinary skills to a place where you’ll make a real difference, and be valued for what you do every day?
In this role, you will:
Support the health and wellbeing of children through planning and preparing nutritious food
Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
Monday to Friday on a part time roster of 27.5 hours per week, 8am – 2pm
About Goodstart Glenorchy:
- Our child care centre is purpose built and provides fantastic facilities and resources.
- We have 75 children daily at the centre and have 30 children that have special dietary or allergy requirements

You’ll need:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
Current TAS Working with Children Check
