As the Centre Director of Little Zak's, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners. You will lead a team of passionate educators and work closely with families to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with our philosophy and values.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide visionary leadership and overall management of the centre.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, ensuring effective communication and teamwork among staff.
- Oversee the recruitment, induction, and ongoing professional development of educators.
- Manage the centre's operations, including budgeting, rostering, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Educational Excellence:
- Develop and implement an innovative curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Monitor and evaluate educational programs to ensure they are engaging, stimulating, and tailored to individual children's needs.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports children's holistic development.
Family Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with families and actively involve them in their child's learning journey.
- Conduct regular parent meetings, providing feedback on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Organize community events and initiatives to foster a sense of belonging and collaboration among families.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and National Quality Standards.
- Conduct regular assessments and quality audits to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and staff.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) OR Diploma qualified
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education and care setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff members.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education.
