Our Client is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Centre Director to lead our team and contribute to the growth and excellence of our center.
Job Description:
As the Early Childhood Centre Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and overall success of our center. You will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and direction to a team of dedicated educators and staff members. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional Early Childhood education and care services while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide visionary leadership to the center's staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance the center's efficiency and effectiveness.
Staff Development:
- Recruit, hire, and train qualified educators and staff members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Support professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the staff.
Curriculum and Programming:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum.
- Ensure that programming aligns with Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of curriculum and make necessary adjustments.
Parent and Community Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community.
- Communicate effectively with families, addressing their concerns and providing updates on their child's progress.
- Organize and participate in community events and initiatives to promote the center.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the National Quality Standards (NQS) and South Australian licensing requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain a high level of quality.
- Prepare for and participate in assessment and rating visits by regulatory authorities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's or higher degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Director role within an Early Childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
