Little Gumnuts Early Learning are seeking an experienced Centre Director to be the Nominated Supervisor to lead and grow our team in West Pymble.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Manage the centre’s performance by applying strong business and financial discipline to meet targets and assessment results
- Actively manage enrolment enquiries to attract, convert, and retain families
- Conduct centre tours and orientations to build respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and families
- Lead, mentor, and support Centre team members using out Staff Policy & Service Operations Manuals to ensure high-quality early learning and care is provided
- Provide professional development for team members to drive improved outcomes
- Use internal and external networks to ensure children and families can access appropriate support
- Maintain a safe environment for children, families, team members, and all visitors
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) across all related areas, and drive continuous improvement of the Centre
Experience & qualifications:
- Experience in leadership of a similarly sized (40 place) centre as a Centre Director or in a comparable role
- Strong experience working with children and families in the early years sector
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or ACECQA approved Diploma-level early childhood qualification
- Child Protection Course as required for Nominated Persons under National Regulation 162A
- Thorough knowledge of Childcare regulations and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Completed approved NSW Child Protection Training
- Current First Aid Qualification
- Business management skills and ability to lead teams to achieve targets
- Full unrestricted work rights in Australia
- Current NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
