Centre Director

Burleigh Sandpiper Preschool and Kindergarten is a newly renovated boutique Centre in the heart of Burleigh. The Centre is under new ownership and has had a beautiful renovation and will be reopening in January 2024. We are looking for a superstar Centre manager to oversee the daily operations of the service and will be supported with a hands-on management team. The Role:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Centre
• Leading and developing a team of educators and teachers to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local community and all other stakeholders
• Ensuring that the Centre adheres to all relevant regulations and statutory requirements 
• Supervising the implementation of programs
• Actively participating in attracting, converting, and retaining families

The Opportunity:

You will have extensive experience managing high quality early learning Centres and a strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills, including impeccable written and verbal communication.

Skills & Experience

• A current Working with Children Check (blue card)
• Full Australian work rights
• A minimum of a Diploma and/or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
• Experience in A&R
• Minimum of 2 years' previous experience in management in an Early Learning Centre
• Strong knowledge of EYLF
• Strong Knowledge of the NQF, National Quality Standards and Education and Care Regulations
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Excellent personal presentation
