The Opportunity:
The Falcam Family are a privately owned and operated organisation that has a small but distinguished network of six childcare centres across NSW. The Falcam Family are currently looking for an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Certificate III and Diploma Qualified (Early Childhood Education and Care) educators, for our centres located in the Illawarra. The Locations:
- Create Imagine Learn Kiama Downs (24 places)
- Early Learning on Bribie in Shell Cove (43 places)
- Little Cherubs Gerringong (30 places)
- Fischer Road Early Learning (38 places)
The Positions:
- Create Imagine Learn (Kiama Downs) - 37.5 hrs per wk Mon-Fri, on a rotating roster.
- Diploma or W/T Diploma qualified (Assistant) Group Leader position available in our Preschool Room. Our small centre is looking for a new team member to join our dynamic crew of Educators. The beauty of this position is you will be mentored in the role - initially embracing the Assistant Group Leader Role alongside the current incumbent until they embark upon a planned period of extended leave at which time you will step up and assume the Group Leader responsibilities. We strive to foster the professional growth and development of our Educators whilst maintaining the balance and stability of the educational requirements of the children attending our service. - Create Imagine Learn (Kiama Downs) - 37.5 hrs per wk Mon-Fri, on a rotating roster.
- Certificate III centre float position - noting that this centre is a small placement capacity of 24 children, this is a great opportunity for a Certificate III qualified Educator at our Kiama Downs service. The successful applicant for this position has the benefit of daily exposure to all age groups within the centre. Providing an opportunity to work collaboratively with the dynamic staff that make Create Imagine Learn a home away from home. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Educator who is confident, capable and reliable, an applicant that is keen to showcase their initiative as an Educator in an intimate and cohesive early childhood setting. - Early Learning on Bribie (Shell Cove) - 37.5 hrs per wk Mon-Fri, on a rotating roster.
- Diploma Qualified Group Leader position currently available in our Pre-school room. We are seeking an experienced Diploma Early Childhood Room Leader to join our established team in our Shell Cove service. Internally renowned within our four local centres as the launchpad for career progression - this position is coveted by our leadership team - the successful applicant will be surrounded by a team of strong and confident educators who support and mentor fellow educators. The Job:
Opportunities for confident, capable and passionate, Certificate III andDiploma Qualified Educators to join our small, friendly family owned and operated services are now available. The successful candidates will be working alongside a team of experienced educators, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment at respective centres. You are expected to be an active leader of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.
Your duties will include but not be limited to –
- Leading, guiding and supporting a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care;
- Planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children that align with our values and policies.
- Developing strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues, children, parents and families.
- Implementing and always upholding the policies and associated procedures and practices of the organisation.
- Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
The Criteria:
- Hold a current Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved Certificate III or Diploma level (or higher) early childhood education and care qualification.
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate - Child Care approved (HLTAID012 or HLTAID004) including current CPR certificate.
- Cleared New South Wales Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Provide two recent work-based references.
- Australian Citizenship or Visa Eligibility, if required.
- This position is identified as a Child Safe work-related position. All successful applicants will be subject to verified WWCC and must demonstrate a commitment to uphold our Child Safe Standards.
