SDN Beranga - at our Autism Specific Preschool located in Rooty Hill.
Work type
Part time maximum term contract position working 3 days per week (Wednesday to Friday) until 30th June 2023
What you'll do
- As a Cert III qualified Educator, you will work as part of a team to provide high quality early childhood education and care to children and to support the implementation of an approved learning framework.
- You will develop and maintain nurturing relationships and communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis, as well as promote and guide positive behaviour.

Your team
SDN Beranga is a purpose built preschool for children with autism located in Rooty Hill. It provides early childhood education for 27 children daily, and also offers early childhood intervention services and children's therapies.
SDN Beranga's delivery model has been highly successful and has produced outstanding results, reflecting our strong connection with local families and supporting SDN's vision and commitment to enhancing the wellbeing and development of all children.
Who you are
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (preferable)
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Understanding of Child Protection legislation and holds an approved and current Child Protection Training qualification
