The Almond Board of Australia, ABA, facilitates the development of the Australian almond industry. Its purpose is to maximize the viability of the industry stakeholders.
Almonds are now Australia’s most valuable horticultural export, generating more than $800 million of export revenue in 2022 and the farm gate value is expected to exceed $1.3 billion by 2026.
The industry operates in a highly competitive global market and is constantly facing new and cyclical agronomic challenges.
