ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
For our residents, meal time isn’t just about eating. It’s about creating a dining and social experience that makes every day the best it can be. As Greenwood's Chef, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring safe and high quality catering services are delivered across the home, and effectively working in our dynamic hospitality team.
This is a 3-month contract (with the view to go permanent) with full-time hours across Monday to Friday or Saturday to Wednesday.
About You
To be successful you must demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience as a Chef within Aged Care
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar formal qualifications
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- Strong professional leadership experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Good technology skills - ability to learn and utilise systems
- High motivation, ability to take initiative and maintain professionalism
- COVID and 2024 flu Certificate (mandatory)
- Undergo an Pre Employment Medical (mandatory)
