We have rare opportunity for a Senior CDP to join our amazing Culinary team based in Pyrmont. To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a busy fast paced kitchen and will bring a fresh and innovative approach to our team. The successful applicant will work on a full time roster Monday to Friday - this is not just a workplace, it’s a place to innovate, a platform to bring your ideas to life, contribute to a sustainable future and best of all - be a part of an awesome team!
About you
- You will be a qualified Chef with minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Current experience as a CDP or Senior CDP
- An understanding of Café style food and solid events experience
- You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience in stock control, ordering & menu planning, and knowledge of quality management systems
- HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
- Commitment to allergen protocols!
- Intermediate computer skills will be a requirement of this role
- Attention to detail and great time management is a must
- Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
