Chef | Brand New Aged Care Facility | All Day Shifts

Are you passionate about creating delicious and nutritious meals for seniors? We are seeking a talented Aged Care Chef to join our team in Lake Cathie. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef who enjoys working in a supportive environment and making a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences of elderly residents.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menus that meet nutritional needs and adhere to budget constraints.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Accommodate special dietary requests and restrictions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in an Aged Care or similar environment.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and restrictions for the elderly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for cooking for seniors.
