Chef & Cleaner Couple for Ski Lodge

Lodge Managers wanted for Winter 2024 season, with opportunity for future winter contracts. Newly renovated, friendly family lodge in a handy location in Perisher (www.mawabu.com.au)

This is a live-in position for a COUPLE to manage an 18 bed, fully catered on-snow lodge - prepare two meals per day for guests, clean lodge, and changeover of rooms. The successful applicants will be provided with a small studio apartment within the lodge & full board.

We require a qualified Chef & separate cleaner/waiter.

The role includes:  

• Day to day Ski Lodge operations  

• Regular liaison with the Club Booking Manager

• Provide daily cooked breakfast and three course evening meal 

• Menu planning, ordering (on-line/phone) & collection of provisions (using the lodge skidoo & trailer)  

• Daily cleaning & maintaining appropriate presentation of common areas, kitchen & facilities 

• Prepare bedrooms for new guests - change linen, clean bedroom & ensuite

• Co-ordinate laundry pick-up/delivery 

*** Successful applicants must include an experienced Chef, have a current driver's licence (to drive the skidoo), NSW Food Safety Supervisors Certificate an ABN (preferably). Due to National Parks restrictions, this role is not suitable for someone with children or pets. ***

The package includes onsite separate accommodation, all meals, use of skidoo and salary from the 6th June - 9th October. There is also an additional bonus on achievement of agreed upon KPIs.

Ideally, we are seeking a couple who would like to forge a long-term relationship with the lodge, however we will consider applicants for a single season if experienced.
