About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join this culinary brigade in Mackay. As a vital member of the kitchen team, you will play a pivotal role in upholding culinary standards and contributing to the continued success of the establishment. You will collaborating with the Head Chef to execute a diverse and dynamic menu and specials. Take ownership of a specific section, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards to guarantee a safe dining experience for guests. Training and guiding junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Contribute to menu development, bringing fresh ideas and culinary expertise to the table.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably within a fast paced kitchen
- Strong culinary skills, with a keen understanding of various cooking techniques and a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, enabling you to handle the fast-paced nature of this kitchen
- A meticulous approach to food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Effective communication and leadership skills, essential for collaborating with the kitchen team and ensuring smooth operations
