Oak Tree Academy Woodford is a home from home, family orientated, early education campus with a focus on creating a successful future for all our children, educators and families. Situated in Woodford we have a beautiful & well-resourced environment that cares for children from 6 weeks to 6 years.
The successful applicant will be required to cook and prepare morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for children ranging from babies to school-age children.
Menu planning, ordering and stock control will also form part of the daily duties for this role.
Our centre cook/chef will also plan and implement weekly cooking experiences with the children.
The successful applicant should have:
- Food handling certificate
- Cooking experience and qualifications
- Knowledge of the Food Safety Standards
- Working with children check / Blue card
This is a permanent part-time role and weekly hours between 25 and 30 are negotiable for the right candidate.
We have flexible working arrangements available to ensure a healthy work-life balance, as well as a discount on child care.
This role is part-time hours and 5 days per week with a set rostered shift although the successful applicant needs to be available for shifts anywhere between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm if required.
