Haynes are currently seeking experienced Chefs, Cooks & Kitchen Hands interested in short term positions in Mackay and surrounding areas.
About the Roles:

• Prepare, cook and present high quality food and beverages to a large volume of guests on a daily basis
• Uphold the kitchen standards by way of good hygiene practices, food and personal safety
• Housekeeping on mining camp rooms
• High focus on time management, attention to detail and offer friendly interactions to guests and staff
• Short term notice for commencement of contract
• Accommodation & Meals provided while on site

About You

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (International Qualifications must be recognised by an Australian Trade College) for Chef Role
• Drivers Licence and reliable transport (this is not a BIBO or FIFO role)
• Previous experience in mining camps is essential
• Motivated and strong work ethic with excellent organisational skills
• Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + D&A Screening, where required
• Valid Rights to Work in Australia
