Busy SeafoodRestaurant Queensland Sunshine Coast

This busyrestaurant serves a diverse range of creative seafood menu items, cooked freshby our team of expert seafood chefs, cooks and kitchen staff.

We requirefulltime Chefs and Cooks for our busy restaurant, located in a central touristlocation in Caloundra on the Queensland Sunshine Coast.

Immediate startfor the right person.

Thesuccessful applicants must ideally have at least 3 years previous experience asa Chef or Cook in a busy commercial kitchen, your skills with preparation andcooking of seafood must be legendary so if you are not an experienced seafoodChef or Cook, this is not the position for you.

You need to havethe skills and ability to provide supervisory support to the Head Chef in thekitchen during times of peak demand as well as manage the kitchen in hisabsence and must have the ability to prepare and present food to the highstandards of our restaurant.

The right personwill have the opportunity to demonstrate their creative genius through our often-changingmenu board. You will be expected to contribute your expertise to the running ofthe kitchen as an integral part of the team.

The knowledge toassist in the kitchen’s budgeting would be a desirable but certainly not acritical requirement for our Chef applicants.

You will berequired to participate in a rotating roster from Breakfasts through to latenight meals over a 7-day rotation including public holidays.

Formalqualifications to AQF or equivalent standards are essential. Chefs and Cookswith experience in upmarket cafe's will be looked upon favourably (Notshort-order cooks).

Remuneration isbetween $70 000 and $80 000+ per annum excluding superannuation and is subjectto your experience and qualifications.
