Royal Hotel (Moonta), Moonta Hotel (Moonta), Opal Inn (Coober Pedy), Desert Cave Hotel (Coober Pedy), Barmera Hotel(Barmera), Portside Tavern (Port Pirie), Kadina Hotel (Kadina), Railway hotel (Peterborough)ABOUT THE ROLEQualified Cook positionReporting directly to the Head Chef you will be responsible for daily kitchen operations which include cooking and preparing meals, maintaining a clean kitchen, and working within all Food Safety Program and Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for cooking including baking or butchery without direct supervision.
Responsible for working in a variety of sections of the kitchen such as cold kitchens, banquets under the direction of higher-grade chefs
Maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation
Following kitchen standard operating procedures
Tasks are completed satisfactorily.
Tasks are completed in a timely manner.Skills and Experience required:Has experience working in a commercial kitchen.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Punctual and able to follow instructions.
Enjoys working as part of a team.
Maintains a clean and sanitized work area.
Can communicate clearly.
Shares a passion for the hospitality industry.
Qualifications:Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
Attained Food Handlers certification.

A salary to reflect your experience, ranging between $64,700, p.a. - $70,600 p.a.
