AddressAPG are currently seeking Chicken Deboners to join our client, a well-known company within the poultry manufacturing industry in Sorell, Tasmania – 20 minutes from the Hobart CBD.
We have multiple positions available on a Casual basis for hard working, dedicated and committed employees.
Days of Work: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
Shift times: 5:45am – 4:05pm finish.
Pay Rate: $29.57
Tasks include, but not limited to:
- Handling raw meat
- Deboning chickens
- Trimming and cutting
- Experience working with raw meat preferred.
- Exposure to using knives (e.g.: abattoir workers or boning experience)
- Physically capable to perform repetitious tasks efficiently.
- Working within temperature-controlled environments
- Basic knowledge of the food manufacturing industry.
- Food handling certificates advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be physically fit and lift up to 20kgs.
- Working within a team and individually.
- Full Australian work rights.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and movements.
- Proven ability to understand and follow instructions.
Training available for those willing to upskill.
