Your Role
As a Chief Cook you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our residents.
Your tasks will include:
Prepare and cook daily nutritionally balanced meals.
As required, order main line food commodities and maintain stock reserves and control
Supervise Client Services Assistants and Volunteers directly associated with the kitchen environment (where applicable)
Ensure the needs of the residents are met through regular monitoring of catering services
Prepare menus and involve residents in choice and selection where appropriate
Monitor and comply with Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental practices

Role Requirements
Be vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
Current Police Screening Certificate
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Proven experience in kitchen operations and management
Demonstrated previous cooking experience for large groups would be an advantage
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
