About the role
Reporting into and providing quality advice to a dynamic and well-respected Board, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the company, managing a range of events across sport, business, arts and culture, including the management of Event Funding Programs.
Providing strategic oversight and working operationally with a high-performing team you will oversee the creative development, planning, management, and execution of dynamic events across the Territory while developing and sustaining effective collaborative partnerships and strategic alliances with a range of partners.
A seasoned leader, you will possess a proven track record of implementing innovative strategies, developing systems, reporting, marketing, and risk management while fostering an environment of cooperation, enablement and collaboration across the organisation.
Additionally, your passion and drive will see you striving to generate new revenue pipelines and drive commercial partnerships while continuing to maintain the organisation's outstanding reputation for service delivery.

Commercially minded with an expert knowledge of financial, staff management, and governance disciplines you will have gained your experience from key sporting bodies, destination events for marketing or tourism enabling your comprehensive knowledge of the events landscape and a desire to take a hands-on approach with the execution of the events portfolio.
An advocate for the Territory, it is envisaged that your network of contacts and strong interpersonal and communication skills will ensure your success.
