AddressLet's connect: We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to head the Hannover Re Australian Branch in Sydney, Australia. Your primary responsibility is to direct the Branch Office and bear overall responsibility for the operation of the Branch.
Your Tasks
- Lead the team to achieve high engagement and performance at all levels, as well as succession options for all key functions
- Create an environment of trust within the local management team and the staff as a whole
- Develop and execute the local strategy in line with the group strategy
- Ensure the mid- to long-term financial performance of the branch
- Create and maintain C-level contacts with the most important clients
- Ensure excellent collaboration with the various group functions in the Hannover office
- Maintain trustful relationships with the local regulators, the external auditors and the local rating agencies
Your Profile
- Excellent leadership skills proven in senior managerial line and project functions
- Proven track record of developing and motivating high performing teams
- Strong ability to define a strategy and vision, and to empower and guide others to achieve common goals
- Good understanding of corporate finance and very strong corporate governance principles
- Profound familiarity with diverse functions of the P&C reinsurance business
- Completed degree in economics, mathematics or comparable discipline combined with excellent English skills
