The role:
In this newly created role, the Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) is responsible for establishing a strategic People and Culture focus within the organisation. We believe that our people are our greatest asset, and we are looking for a dynamic leader to join our exciting team.
This is a high-level strategic and people focused role, and you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the employee experience, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, professional development, value and cultural programs and employee relations. Additionally, you will lead the development and implementation of strategies that promote employee engagement, well-being and growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of the executive team.

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs and develop and implement talent acquisition strategies.
• Implement organisational development programs to optimise team performance and collaboration.
• Promote an inclusive and positive work environment that reflects the values of the organisation.
• Establish effective processes that effectively train, retain, manage, and recognise employees for the work they do.
• Lead the development of workplace and industrial relations reform that meet business needs and lead the provision of effective and timely advice and resolution of matters.
• Develop overarching learning & development and performance management plan and HR policies.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, Executive team, Board, Senior leadership team to develop and implement the organisation's strategic plans and initiatives.
About you:
• Proven track record, in a senior People & Culture leadership role, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sector
• Ability to architect People strategy along with leadership skills.
• Ability to develop and interpret HR metrics and translate it to achievable business strategies.
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Ability to maintain relationship with various stakeholders to achieve business goals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation.
