  • Total Effective Package: $179,023 – $187,663 (p.a.) *

About the roleThe Chief Risk, Safety and Compliance Officer (CRSCO) is a key senior management role within Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, reporting directly to the General Manager of Human Resources. The CRSCO is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organisation’s risk management, Safety and Compliance programs. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, exceptional analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of risk management, safety management and Compliance practices within the Aboriginal healthcare sector.About youAs an experienced professional, you will have demonstrated experience in leading a sophisticated risk, Safety and Compliance function in a complex and diverse healthcare setting.In addition to the above, you will demonstrate the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, law, or a related field. A master’s degree and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Risk Manager, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in risk, Safety and Compliance management at a senior level, preferably within the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A commitment to the principles of Aboriginal community control and a demonstrated understanding of the social, political, and economic issues affecting Aboriginal people in Central Australia.
