  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (preferred in the Security domain) and/or equivalent combined industry and defence experience associated with an engineering, technical or maintenance environment.
  • Working understanding of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF); the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF); and, the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)

Special Requirements:Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulationsYour responsibilities will include:Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a highly motivated, outcomes-driven senior leader to fill the position of Chief Security Officer (CSO). Our ideal candidate will be innovative, consultative, resilient and personally accountable for the quality of advice and the delivery of results.Reporting to the Director, Global Security& Crisis Management the CSO is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Australia Security Plan that complies with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, contract security requirements, and security measures provided by Corporate Security.The CSO will be expected to work collectively with Lockheed Martin Australia security professionals and leaders, as well as US based security leadership.The CSO primary focus will be to:
  • Develop and enforce information security policies, incident response plans and lead crisis management efforts in the event of security incidents or emergencies. Evaluate the likelihood and impact of various risks, and prioritise security measures and allocate resources effectively
  • Support the Lockheed Martin Australia accountable authority to ensure the safety of personnel (including contractors, visitors and clients), information and assets.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive security strategies aligned with the organisation's goals, and establish effective procedures to achieve security outcomes that are consistent with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and other Australian Government policies and legal requirements.
  • Embed efficient and effective security management awareness and practices by setting the strategic direction for protective security planning and risk management.
  • Oversee preparation of LM Australia's PSPF annual security report to accurately reflect its security maturity position and detail how it is addressing areas of vulnerability.
