What you'll be doing
The LNS CYMHS Clinician is required to manage a complex caseload with presentations from 0-17year old from a variety of psycho-social backgrounds. The evidenced based treatment modalities provided include client centred psychotherapies and family focused therapies such as Attachment Based Family Therapy, CBT and DBT. There is a requirement to conduct extensive networking with services such as the education department and local school, GP and other private and government services. The multi-disciplinary team approach provides a supportive environment with the increase in demand and acuity of presentations.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrate these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing and registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers. Clinical Psychologists must have a minimum postgraduate Masters or higher in Clinical Psychology. For Social Work, experience as a Level 2 clinician. Occupational Therapist must have experience as a Level 2 clinician. Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 must have relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated capacity for multi-disciplinary including peer work.
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills working systemically with young children and adolescents with Mental Health problem, their families and their systems of care and support, including individual, group and parent focussed clinical services.
