AddressManager for Small Caravan Park in Mildura Region
We are a small Caravan Park located about 20 minutes from the township of Mildura, at Nangiloc. The park is well established and currently in the process of being re-developed to provide update cabins for seasonal workers, as well as retaining the original 80 cabins, which are a mix of powered and unpowered sites.
We are looking for a full-time live in couple, who will be responsible for the operation and management of the park. You will preferably have experience in Caravan Park management, however this is not essential. The main qualities we are after are enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to grow alongside the business.
The duties include day-to-day operation of the front office, dealing with implications for short- and long-term stays and overseeing ongoing maintenance that needs to be done at the park. It also involves daily cleaning of an amenity block with several laundries, the park includes a barbeque in the caravan and camping area and there is a swimming pool, presently not in commission, but with plans to put it in commission in the not-too-distant future.
There is a three-bedroom house, which comes as part of the package, and there is a shop attached to the house, which has not been operated for some years, but which could provide the opportunity for a resourceful couple to develop a further income stream.
You may sometimes be required to attend to issues that arise after hours in the park, but we will arrange for relief staff to allow for several days a week off work, at times to be agreed.
We are looking for a couple with initiative, who are interested in growing with us, who have capable computer skills, and are also prepared to assist us with the marketing of the park.
